BIM Team Lead

The role is responsible for executing and managing BIM/digital engineering work; adding value and bringing digital innovation to design engineering and construction aspects of projects; conducting reviews and providing input for tenders and post award projects WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF delivering high quality and timely BIM/digital engineering services to the organisation in line with Leightons Digital Engineering Initiative and standard operating procedures. This will be a shared resource in the LAIO organization.

Role & responsibilities

Hands-on BIM authoring experience (Revit, Civil 3D, Tekla, etc.)

• Ability to generate construction Shop Drawings, CSD & ISD drawing from Revit BIM model preferable
• Perform clash analysis, construction simulation, exporting construction drawings, etc
• Advanced understanding of BIM processes and ability to develop this on new projects
• Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and solve problems when working under pressure
• Passion in digital technology for construction;
• Ability to develop learning material to support project teams
• Able to conduct technical training to project teams
• Demonstrate a reliable, responsive and positive work ethic with the highest degree of integrity
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adhere to deadlines
• Possess a strong work ethic

Preferred candidate profile

• Total Relevant Experience: 10+ years of BIM coordination and BIM management
• Knowledge of Autodesk and Bentley Tools (primarily Revit, Navisworks and OpenBuilding)
• Knowledge IS019650 and other BIM/Digital Engineering Standards
• Knowledge in the implementation, execution, and management of Common Data Environment (CDE)
• Knowledge of Architecture, Civil and Structural engineering and design
• Knowledge in multi-disciplinary design and construction coordination
• Knowledge and basic understanding of civil structures and design
• Knowledge of BIM modelling, coordination & BEP implementation
• Knowledge in CAD tools i.e. AutoCAD, Microstation
