Key Responsibilities

1. BIM Strategy, Planning & Leadership

• Lead the development, execution, and governance of the

  BIM Execution Plan (BEP)

  .
• Establish and enforce standardized

  BIM workflows, processes, and project protocols

  .
• Oversee BIM standardization and adoption of BIM tools and platforms.
• Set up and manage the

  Common Data Environment (CDE)

  e.g., BIM 360.
• Define and communicate BIM-related roles and responsibilities across stakeholders.
  
• Lead, mentor, and guide the BIM team to ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables.
  

2. Quality Assurance & Governance

• Oversee and perform

  model audits

  to ensure compliance with project BIM standards and LOD requirements.
• Ensure all consultant and contractor models meet accuracy, completeness, and coordination criteria.
  

3. Multi-Disciplinary Design Coordination

• Lead coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, and specialty disciplines using BIM models.
  
• Identify design discrepancies and coordinate with consultants for timely resolution.
  

4. Clash Detection & Resolution Leadership

• Execute and oversee clash detection workflows using

  Autodesk Revit and Navisworks

  .
• Run clash tests, generate detailed clash logs, and communicate findings to consultants.
  
• Chair coordination meetings, drive design conflict resolutions, and document outcomes.
  
• Validate updated models to ensure delivery of a

  clash-free coordinated model

  .

5. BIM Data Management & Analytics

• Oversee extraction of material quantities, schedules, and other project data from BIM models.
  
• Ensure accuracy of information used by cost, procurement, and planning teams.
  

6. Team Development & Technical Support

• Train, mentor, and develop BIM team members.
  
• Support project teams in navigating and utilizing the

  Data Exchange (DE) platform

  .

7. Client & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as the primary BIM interface for clients, including those with

  US-based standards or workflows

  .
• Coordinate with client BIM consultants to align deliverables and ensure expectations are met.
  

8. Drawing Review & Documentation

• Review all contractor/consultant drawings to verify they are extracted from the approved BIM model.
  
• Support designers and engineers with drawing presentation and alignment with site updates.
  

9. Reporting & Presentations

• Prepare

  fortnightly BIM status reports

  , clash detection reports, and project presentations.
• Attend BIM progress meetings and provide expert recommendations.
  

10. 4D & 5D BIM Oversight

• Lead development and monthly updates of

  4D (schedule) and 5D (cost)

  BIM simulations.
• Coordinate with planning and cost control teams for accurate integration.
  

11. Construction Phase BIM Integration

• Review contractor/vendor shop drawings for coordination compliance.
  
• Ensure all construction-phase design changes are updated in the BIM model.
  
• Conduct clash coordination for revised models.
  
• Review and verify

  as-built models

  for alignment with approved redline drawings.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in

  Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360

  , and related BIM solutions.
• Demonstrated experience working on

  US projects or US-based project environments

  .
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• In-depth understanding of BIM implementation, standards, LOD frameworks, and multi-disciplinary coordination.
