BIM Specialist

As a Bentley OpenBuildings Designer / AECOsim Modeller at COWI, you will play a crucial role in developing detailed 3D models and designs for infrastructure projects. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Developing and delivering detailed 3D models using Bentley OpenBuildings Designer / AECOsim software. - Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and clash-free models. - Interpreting design data, drawings, and specifications into 3D models. - Assisting in the preparation of construction documentation from the models. - Performing quality checks to ensure model integrity, accuracy, and compliance with project standards. - Supporting design reviews and presentations using 3D visualizations and walkthroughs. - Updating and maintaining BIM models throughout the project lifecycle. - Coordinating with external consultants and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design components. Qualifications required for this role include: - B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Bentley OpenBuildings Designer / AECOsim Modeller. - Proficiency in Bentley AECOsim Building Designer / OpenBuildings Designer software. - Strong understanding of BIM processes and workflows related to infrastructure projects. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, design specifications, and technical documents. - Experience in clash detection, model coordination, and quality assurance within BIM environments. - Knowledge of software such as MicroStation, ProjectWise, Navisworks, or similar is a plus. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. - Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
