As an Structural Engineer, you will assist the Team Directors in the performance of their duties, ensuring quality and accuracy of designs. You will offer suggestions to improve the designs and produce sketch drawings. Additionally, you will carry out design calculations and check design calculations for accuracy. It is essential to ensure compliance with Project Design Criteria, Client Brief, and Approved Concept, as well as relevant design standards and office standards. Checking documentation to ensure it complies with the design is also part of your responsibilities. You will attend and participate in design meetings to contribute effectively, ensuring compliance with ISO Quality Procedure Manual. Key Responsibilities: - Assist Team Directors in their duties - Ensure quality and accuracy of designs - Offer suggestions for improvement - Produce sketch drawings - Carry out and check design calculations - Ensure compliance with Project Design Criteria, Client Brief, and Approved Concept - Ensure compliance with relevant design standards and office standards - Check documentation compliance with design - Attend and participate in design meetings - Ensure compliance with ISO Quality Procedure Manual Qualifications Required: - Recognised Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering - 2-10 years of design experience in a consulting environment - Design experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed development projects - Experience in HDB design - Fully familiar with the latest design software Additional Company Details: The company is looking for candidates with good interpersonal and communication skills. It is essential to be fully familiar with European codes and have hands-on experience with the analysis and design of large building projects in structural steel, R.C., and post-tensioned concrete.
