BIM Engineer - Structure

As a Civil Engineering professional with a B.Tech/BE degree and at least 3 years of experience, your role will involve developing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for structural components using software like Revit. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate structural designs into the overall BIM project model. It will be crucial for you to ensure the accuracy and completeness of structural models and associated documentation. You will be expected to perform clash detection and resolve clashes related to structural elements, as well as generate construction documents and support the creation of as-built documentation. Collaboration with project teams to meet project deliverables and deadlines will be a key aspect of your role. Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technology and methodologies is essential, along with following company/project BIM standards, templates, and best practices. Your skills should include a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and design codes, proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, with expertise in structural modeling and detailing. Knowledge of BIM standards and best practices in the structural discipline is also required. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Attention to detail and the ability to perform quality checks on BIM models and associated documentation will be crucial for success in this role.
