Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director Operations (BIM) to lead and scale BIM delivery, operational excellence and cross-functional execution within Outlook Designheed.

This role will drive strategy, growth, quality standards, and client satisfaction across BIM service lines.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Lead the BIM Operations strategic roadmap.

Align BIM execution with business and technology goals.

Identify new BIM service offerings and scalability opportunities.

Operational Excellence

Oversee the complete BIM delivery lifecycle.

Establish and enforce BIM workflows, processes, standards, and KPIs.

Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights.

Team Development & Leadership

Lead and mentor BIM teams including Managers, Coordinators, and Modelers.

Build performance evaluation, training programs, and career development plans.

Promote collaboration between BIM, design, MEP, structural, and project management teams.

Client & Project Engagement

Act as the senior escalation point for clients.

Support business development teams with technical proposals and BIM inputs.

Ensure high client satisfaction and project success.

Technology & Innovation

Lead adoption of advanced BIM tools and digital workflows.

Evaluate and implement automation, cloud collaboration, and emerging BIM technologies.

Quality & Risk Compliance

Ensure compliance with global BIM standards and statutory norms.

Oversee QA/QC, clash detection management, and risk mitigation processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

15+ years

Expertise in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, and digital collaboration tools.

Proven experience in leading BIM teams and delivering complex projects.

Preferred Experience

Exposure to global markets including India, UAE, and US.

Experience in operational strategy, planning, and data-driven decision making.

Strong communication and leadership qualities.

Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
