BIM Developer

Role Overview: Index InfoTech is seeking an experienced BIM Developer to join their team at the Pune office. As a BIM specialist with a civil engineering background, you will be responsible for developing plugins for Autodesk, Tekla, and Allplan, enhancing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes through automation and AI, and integrating API solutions within the construction and architecture space. This role requires a blend of civil engineering knowledge, front-end and back-end development skills, and expertise in AI-driven applications. Key Responsibilities: - Strong experience with Autodesk API (Revit, AutoCAD), Tekla API, and Allplan API for plugin development. - Utilize programming languages such as Python, C#, and JavaScript to enhance BIM processes. - Proficiency in web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, React.js, Node.js, and RESTful APIs for application development. - Familiarity with AI technologies including machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for BIM projects. - Ability to deploy AI applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and manage database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB) for BIM data. - Extensive knowledge of 3D modeling, computational design algorithms, and geometry manipulation in BIM environments. - Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for software development. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Previous experience in developing AI applications for civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction projects. - Knowledge of IFC standards for BIM data exchange and civil engineering workflows. - Familiarity with structural analysis tools and civil engineering design software. - Experience in applying computer vision to civil engineering models. - Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
