BIM Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM workflows and standards across design disciplines (Architecture, Structure, and MEP).
• Develop and maintain accurate 3D models ensuring data integrity and model quality.
• Perform clash detection and manage clash resolution using tools like Navisworks.
• Support project teams with model federation, data extraction, and visual representation.
• Assist in developing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Level of Development (LOD) matrices, and project-specific BIM protocols.
• Conduct coordination meetings and prepare model-based progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with company BIM standards and industry best practices.
• Provide technical support and training to project team members on BIM-related tasks.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors for integrated project delivery.
• Participate in regular QA checks and model audits during the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• BIM certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, RICS BIM Manager) are an added advantage.

Experience

• 57 years of hands-on experience in BIM coordination on large-scale AEC projects.
• Proficient in software tools like Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 / ACC.
• Familiarity with Solibri, Dynamo, Rhino, or Civil 3D is a plus.

Skills

• Deep understanding of BIM standards including ISO 19650, LOD, and COBie.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Capable of interpreting complex construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in clash detection techniques and issue tracking systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure or metro/transportation projects.
• Knowledge of Common Data Environments (CDEs) and cloud-based collaboration tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic work environment.
