BIM & CAD Designer - AutoCAD/Revit

• Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for safety products and systems using CAD software -AutoCAD and BIM tools -Revit.
• Assist in the creation of building information models for fall protection systems, guardrails, and access solutions integrated into construction projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret design requirements, resolve clashes in models, and ensure designs comply with relevant safety standards (e.g., OSHA, Indian building codes).
• Prepare technical documentation, including assembly drawings, installation guides, and bid packages for manufacturing and on-site implementation.
• Conduct model reviews and simulations to identify potential issues and optimise designs for efficiency and safety.
• Support project managers in overseeing subcontractor bids and ensuring design alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends in BIM and CAD technologies to contribute to continuous improvement in design processes.

Preferred candidate profile

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Bachelors degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the construction industry.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in BIM & CAD Software
• Proficient in BIM & CAD software such as AutoCAD , Revit & Naviswork.

Skills:

• Able to identify and resolve conflicts or issues in the design process and come up with creative solutions to complex problems.
• Able to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines and be able to pay close attention to detail.
• Able to adapt to changing project needs and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work closely with a team of professionals, including architects, engineers, and contractors, and be able to effectively communicate ideas and information.
• Has strong problem-solving skills
• Has excellent teamwork skills.
• Must be proficient in both spoken and written English.
