Job Description / Key Responsibilities:

• Process and generate patient bills for OPD, IPD, emergency, cash, credit, insurance, Ayushman Bharat cases.
• Submit claims, raise pre‑authorizations and manage the Ayushman Bharat / PM‑JAY portal procedures.
• Handle billing queries, denials & rejections, follow up with government health authorities / nodal officers to resolve them.
• Maintain accurate records: discharge summaries, supporting documents, receipts, invoices, etc.
• Reconcile daily cash & credit billing tallies; ensure all billing entries match with services rendered.
• Coordinate with departments (medical, nursing, records, insurance) to gather necessary documentation.
• Respond to patients’ billing queries, provide clarification on charges.
• Prepare periodic reports (MIS) on billing performance, pending claims, rejected claims etc.
