Job Summary

The Billing Executive / Cashier is responsible for accurate billing, cash handling, payment processing, and maintaining daily sales and financial records. The role ensures smooth billing operations and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate accurate bills and invoices for customers

• Handle cash, UPI, card, and other digital payments

• Maintain daily cash collection and reconcile with system records

• Ensure proper entry of sales data in ERP/accounting software

• Issue receipts and manage refunds or adjustments when required

• Coordinate with accounts and inventory teams for billing discrepancies

• Maintain records of invoices, payments, and daily closing reports

• Ensure compliance with GST and company billing procedures

• Handle customer queries related to billing and payments

• Maintain cleanliness and discipline at the billing counter

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounts, or related field (preferred)

• 13 years of experience as a Billing Executive or Cashier

• Knowledge of billing software, ERP systems, and MS Excel

• Basic understanding of GST and invoicing

• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail

• Good communication and customer-handling skills

• Honest, reliable, and well-organized

• Fresher / Experienced candidates may apply

• Experience in retail, agri-products, or FMCG billing is an added advantage
