Job Description

Position Title:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Billing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the billing and invoicing processes for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Billing and Invoicing:

Prepare and submit accurate project bills and invoices based on contractual terms, project progress, and work completed.
Ensure the billing process adheres to contractual timelines and milestones.
Monitor and track all project-related payments, ensuring timely collections.
Coordinate with the finance and accounts teams to ensure alignment in invoicing procedures.

Project Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all project documentation related to billing, including change orders, variations, and approved work orders.
Ensure all supporting documentation for billing is complete and organized, including material purchases, labor costs, and subcontractor invoices.
Manage and update billing trackers and status reports for various projects.

Cost Estimation & Analysis:

Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and manage costs against the project budget.
Review and reconcile project costs, quantities, and financial data to ensure they align with the contract.
Analyze cost discrepancies and work with project managers to resolve any issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Billing Engineer or in a similar role in the construction/engineering industry.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, billing procedures, and financial documentation.
Excellent knowledge of project cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management
