Job Description

Billing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and submission of
Running Account (RA) bills
and
Final Bills
Taking
site measurements
and preparing
Measurement Books (MB)
Preparing and verifying
Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
Rate analysis for extra items and variations
Coordination with site engineers, planning team, and accounts department
Follow-up with clients/consultants for bill certification and payment
Maintain proper billing records and documentation
Reconciliation of client bills with subcontractor bills
Ensuring compliance with contract terms and project specifications

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree / Diploma in
Civil Engineering
2–5 years of experience as a Billing Engineer (construction/infrastructure projects preferred)
Strong knowledge of billing procedures and contractual terms

Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in
MS Excel
,
AutoCAD
(basic)
Knowledge of
CPWD / PWD / item-rate contracts
Good understanding of drawings and specifications
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to work under deadlines

Preferred Experience:

Experience in
government projects
, water supply, irrigation, roads, or building projects
Familiarity with tender documents and contract management
