Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Quantity & Measurement:

Study BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and extract quantities from drawings.
Take measurements from the site (using measurement books) and verify against work done.
Prepare measurement sheets and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).

Bill Preparation & Certification:

Prepare and submit Running Account (RA) bills for clients.
Process and certify subcontractor bills and vendor invoices.
Identify and prepare extra/non-tender items with rate analysis.
Ensure bills are error-free and mathematically/technically checked.

Cost Control & Estimation:

Assist in cost estimation and rate analysis.
Track project expenses and materials, reconciling them monthly.
Monitor costs and report on deviations.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain all billing records, documents, and financial reports (MIS reports).
Ensure all billing processes comply with company policies and contracts.

Coordination & Communication:

Liaise with site engineers, project managers, clients, and accounts teams.
Follow up with clients for bill approvals and payments.
Provide billing-related information to stakeholders as needed

Key Skills Needed:

Strong understanding of BOQ, rate analysis, and site drawings.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and billing/ERP software.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of construction practices and financial management
