Billing and Accounts Assistant

You will be joining a well-established Florist & Decor company, founded in 2004, where a team of dedicated professionals collaborates to deliver exceptional floral and decor services to clients. Your role as a Billing and Accounts Executive will involve overseeing daily billing operations and ensuring the maintenance of accurate financial records. Your key responsibilities will include generating precise invoices for customer orders, both in-store and online, recording all sales transactions, and issuing receipts. You will be tasked with reconciling daily sales in the accounting system, managing invoices, debit and credit notes, and handling petty cash while preparing cash flow reports. It will be essential to accurately input financial data into accounting software, ensuring the organization and upkeep of financial records. Additionally, you will support in creating monthly financial reports and statements and assist the team with various administrative and financial tasks as required. Collaboration with the florist team is vital to ensure seamless coordination between financial and operational aspects of the business. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field, along with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail or flower shop industry. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar platforms is required. Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Word will be beneficial. In addition to technical competencies, soft skills such as exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, keen attention to detail and accuracy, as well as good communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
