As a Meter Reader, you will be responsible for reading electrical meters at homes and businesses, contributing to the billing department's efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Travel to customers" homes and businesses to read their electrical meters and accurately input the data into our central database. - Greet customers and schedule meter readings when necessary. - Provide new electricity and gas activation services to new customers and disconnect service as needed. - Report malfunctioning devices or unauthorized changes to supervisors. - Perform routine maintenance tasks or minor repairs on utility meters. - Maintain detailed logs of work shifts, including addresses visited, meters checked, breaks taken, and incidents encountered. **Qualifications Required:** - Proven work experience as a Meter Reader or in a similar role. - Possession of a valid driver's license. - Strong customer service skills. - Ability to work independently. - Relevant training and certifications as a Meter Reader.
