Big Data Engineer - Scala

Job Description: As a Big Data Engineer with Capco, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative solutions to help clients transform their business. Your key responsibilities will include: - Strong skills in messaging technologies like Apache Kafka or equivalent, programming in Scala, Spark with optimization techniques, and Python. - Ability to write queries through Jupyter Notebook and work with orchestration tools like NiFi and AirFlow. - Design and implement intuitive, responsive UIs to enhance data understanding and analytics for issuers. - Experience with SQL and distributed systems, along with a strong understanding of Cloud architecture. - Ensuring a high-quality code base through the writing and reviewing of performance-oriented, well-tested code. - Demonstrated experience in building complex products, with knowledge of Splunk or other alerting and monitoring solutions. - Proficiency in using Git, Jenkins, and a broad understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies.
