Job Description

Description We are seeking a skilled Big Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems. You will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities Design and implement scalable data pipelines using big data technologies. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Optimize data storage and processing performance for large-scale datasets. Monitor and troubleshoot data processing systems to ensure high availability and reliability. Implement data governance and security practices to protect sensitive data. Stay up-to-date with emerging big data technologies and best practices. Skills and Qualifications 6-10 years of experience in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python. Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for big data solutions. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases such as HDFS, Hive, Cassandra, or MongoDB. Knowledge of data pipeline orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Apache NiFi. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
