BI Tester

As a BI Tester, your role involves ensuring the accuracy and functionality of reports and dashboards by conducting thorough testing processes. You will be responsible for validating data accuracy, ensuring report/dashboard functionality, and supporting BI projects. Key Responsibilities: - Perform BI Testing to validate data accuracy, transformations, and reporting outputs. - Conduct report and dashboard testing across BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or equivalent. - Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data between source systems, staging, and reporting layers. - Perform data validation, reconciliation, and regression testing. - Identify, analyze, and report defects; collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to resolve issues. - Validate ETL processes, data warehouse loads, and downstream reporting. - Support functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Document test plans, test cases, and maintain test evidence according to standards. Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of BI Testing and Reports Testing. - Proficiency in SQL queries (joins, aggregations, subqueries, performance tuning). - Experience in validating reports/dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, SSRS, or similar BI tools. - Hands-on experience with ETL/Data Warehouse testing. - Strong understanding of data quality, reconciliation, and migration testing. - Good communication and analytical skills.,
