As a Data Visualization Architect at EY, you will have the opportunity to contribute to building a better working world by creating compelling data visualizations and dashboards that communicate data insights effectively. Here is a breakdown of what you can expect in this role: **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize your 12-15 years of experience to develop interactive and static visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools. - Collaborate with stakeholders such as data engineers and analysts to gather, clean, and integrate data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability. - Focus on user-centric design principles to create intuitive visualizations that meet the needs of different stakeholders. Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback. - Establish best practices for data visualization architecture, including guidelines and standards for creating and maintaining visualizations. - Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into actionable visual insights. - Optimize the performance of data visualizations to handle large datasets efficiently and ensure quick load times. - Experience in Requirements Gathering, analyzing needs based on user requirements, estimating effort/timeline, and providing solutions for proposals. - Provide training and support to end-users on interacting with and interpreting visualizations. Create documentation and user guides as needed. - Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data visualization. Propose and implement new tools and techniques to enhance visualization capabilities. **Qualifications:** - Proven experience in data visualization and dashboard development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Proficiency in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar is required. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, experience in data manipulation and transformation. Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is a plus. - Design Skills: Strong understanding of design principles, including layout, color theory, and typography. Experience with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous. - Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify key insights, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. - Project Management & Others: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Exposure to RFPs, Estimation, and Planning is preferred. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). - Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques. - Experience with user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
