This role demands in-depth knowledge of biogas technology, purification systems, feedstock management , and government compliance related to MNRE and PESO norms. ⚙️ Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Prepare DPR (Detailed Project Report) and project feasibility studies. Oversee complete plant setup — civil, mechanical, and electrical installation. Coordinate with technology partners, vendors, and EPC contractors. Technical Supervision Design & monitor anaerobic digestion, gas purification, compression, and bottling systems. Ensure process efficiency, methane yield, and gas purity as per BIS standards. Conduct performance testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Regulatory & Compliance Liaise with PESO, Pollution Control Board, MNRE, and other statutory bodies. Maintain compliance documentation, safety certifications, and audit reports. Feedstock & Resource Management Analyze feedstock availability, quality, and seasonal variations. Design efficient feedstock storage and preprocessing systems. Team Leadership & Training Supervise on-site engineers and operators. Conduct technical training programs for O&M teams. Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols. Business & Financial Coordination Support management in budgeting, CAPEX/OPEX planning, and ROI evaluation. Coordinate with marketing and sales for gas offtake and slurry utilization. 🎓 Qualification & Experience B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Biotechnology Engineering. Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Biogas/CBG/Industrial Gas projects. Strong understanding of AD technology, gas upgrading (PSA/membrane), and CBG compression systems.
