Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Machine Operation
: Operate bending machines (press brakes, CNC benders) to form materials per specifications.
Setup & Programming
: Install tools (dies, punches), set back gauges, and program machine parameters for specific bends.
Blueprint Interpretation
: Read and understand technical drawings, work orders, and templates.
Quality Control
: Use calipers, protractors, etc., to inspect parts for accuracy and make adjustments.
Maintenance
: Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs on equipment.
Safety & Compliance
: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Documentation
: Keep accurate records of production, machine settings, and quality checks.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience with manual and/or CNC bending machines (e.g., press brakes).
Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
Understanding of tooling (dies, punches).
Ability to perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting.
Commitment to safety and quality.
