About the Role

Lakmé Academy Barasat is looking for an enthusiastic and persuasive Beauty Education Counsellor who can guide aspiring students toward building successful careers in the beauty, makeup, hair, and cosmetology industry.
The candidate should be passionate about education, possess excellent communication skills, and be confident in converting enquiries into admissions through structured counselling and relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counselling & Admissions

• Counsel prospective students (walk-ins, telephonic, and online) about Lakmé Academy’s professional beauty courses.
• Understand the candidate’s career goals and recommend suitable courses accordingly.
• Convert leads into walk-ins and walk-ins into admissions by explaining course benefits, structure, and career outcomes.
• Follow up with prospective leads through calls, messages, and emails until closure.
• Maintain and update enquiry records in CRM or lead management systems.

Sales & Target Achievement

• Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets as set by the center.
• Handle objections and provide convincing information to parents and students.
• Coordinate with marketing and field teams for lead flow and walk-in generation.
• Support center promotional activities, open houses, and workshops.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build long-term relationships with students and parents through trust and communication.
• Provide pre- and post-admission support to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Handle student feedback and escalate issues to the Center Manager when required.

Requirements

• Qualification: Minimum Graduate (any stream).
• Experience: 1–3 years preferred in counselling, tele-counselling, or front-end sales (education or service industry preferred).

Skills Required:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English, Hindi & Bengali).
• Confident, persuasive, and customer-focused approach.
• Good presentation and grooming standards to align with the Lakmé brand.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office / CRM tools).
• Strong follow-up and closing ability.
