Job Description

As a Batch monitoring specialist, your role involves monitoring batch jobs using job monitoring tools and job schedulers. Your key responsibilities will include: - Monitoring applications, servers, and IIS - Conducting first-level analysis of incidents - Analyzing and providing temporary or permanent solutions - Closing incidents at L1 and L2 levels - Reassigning tickets to the Apps Dev Team for necessary code fixes - Providing status updates to TL/PM as required - Supplying data for metrics collection In terms of technical skills, you should have working knowledge of job schedulers like Autosys, incident management processes and tools, monitoring tools, and PL/SQL. Additionally, you should possess process skills such as familiarity with Agile Methodology, experience in Support/Incident Management in previous projects, knowledge of standard SDLC development processes, and testing tools. Moreover, it is essential for you to exhibit the following behavioral skills: - Being a good team player - Willingness to work in rotational shifts - Possessing good communication skills Qualifications required for this role include a BE or B Tech degree.
