Barista/All Rounder

We are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile Barista to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, coffee, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coffee Making:
• Prepare high-quality espresso-based coffees (e.g., lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites) using a commercial coffee machine.
• Ensure consistent coffee quality, including grind adjustment and milk texturing.
• Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies.
• Customer Service:
• Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming environment.
• Take orders accurately and process payments using the POS system.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
• Food Handling:
• Assist with basic food preparation, including plating and assembling dishes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• General Café Operations:
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Clear tables, clean dishes, and maintain cleanliness throughout the café.
• Restock shelves, refrigerators, and other supplies as needed.
• Support team members during busy periods and contribute to a smooth workflow.
• Other Duties:
• Maintain a tidy workspace, including the coffee station, kitchen, and dining area.
• Participate in opening and closing duties, including setting up and shutting down equipment.
• Report maintenance or equipment issues to the manager.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a barista or café all-rounder preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain a commercial coffee machine confidently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for hospitality.
