Banking Operations Fraud Specialist

Role Overview: As part of the Global Wealth Management Operations team at UBS in Mumbai, your role will involve supporting various aspects of fraud level one operations. This includes reviewing, investigating, adjudicating alerts, processing/rejecting, tracking and reporting, escalating issues, and navigating through corresponding workflows while ensuring compliance with the applicable risk and control framework. Additionally, you will work within a Change at the Bank and Run the Bank environment to drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancing processes, automation initiatives, and increasing digital capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Support all aspects of fraud level one operations, including review, investigation, alert adjudication, processing/rejecting, tracking, reporting, escalation, and workflow navigation - Work within a Change at the Bank and Run the Bank environment to drive continuous enhancement through process streamlining, automation initiatives, and increasing digital capabilities Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience - Strong working knowledge of holistic fraud life-cycle and escalation points - Organizational and time management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound risk-based judgment - Effective written, verbal, and listening communication skills - Ability to multitask under pressure and be cross-fungible - Self-motivated with lean, innovative thought leadership and high attention to detail - Ability to adapt to changing environments and business needs About UBS: UBS is the world's largest and only truly global wealth manager, operating through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
