Banking Operations Analyst

As an Ops Sup Analyst 1 at CSIPL (Citi Services India Private Limited), your role involves providing crucial support to the Account Opening process for Retail Bank Accounts in compliance with regulatory guidelines. This includes handling financial adjustments, documentation maintenance, account maintenance, and account opening activities in coordination with the operations - Core Team. You will act as a liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians, and clients, with the objective of offering day-to-day operations support aligned with Citi's operations infrastructure and processes. Your responsibilities will include leading customer service efforts to resolve inquiries efficiently, fostering team efficiency through training and knowledge sharing, collaborating effectively with the team to manage peak volumes, ensuring timely task completion by working closely with validation teams, leading employee engagement activities, serving as a backup for the supervisor, developing product and process expertise, meeting and exceeding productivity targets, maintaining a zero-error rate, adhering to KPIs and SLAs, contributing to MTP savings, analyzing financial postings for simplification, preparing accurate MIS and reporting, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, identifying risks and mitigation strategies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. To qualify for this role, you should ideally have 4-6 years of relevant experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office & Citi AI tools, knowledge of Branch and Client servicing processes, Lean certification, familiarity with client reporting, strong organization and time management skills, problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
