As an Ayurvedic Consultant in Cosmetics Production at Aromatika, a leading natural wellness and beauty brand, you will be responsible for integrating Ayurvedic principles into the formulation, production, and quality control of herbal and natural cosmetic products. Your deep Ayurvedic knowledge will be crucial in ensuring the authenticity and sustainability of our product lines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in formulating herbal and Ayurvedic cosmetic products such as creams, oils, shampoos, and serums. - Ensure all products meet Ayurvedic standards, cosmetic regulations, and company quality benchmarks. - Collaborate with the R&D and production team to develop innovative and safe formulations using Ayurvedic ingredients. - Supervise ingredient selection and validation, particularly for classical herbs and Ayurvedic actives. - Prepare and validate product documentation including formulation sheets, batch manufacturing records, and regulatory files. - Conduct research on traditional Ayurvedic texts to identify suitable herbs and treatments for modern cosmetics. - Uphold production practices in accordance with GMP and Ayurvedic ethics. - Work closely with marketing and education teams to provide scientific support and Ayurvedic insights for product promotion and training. **Qualifications Required:** - BAMS degree from a recognized university is mandatory. - Profound understanding of Ayurvedic herbs, formulations, and pharmacology. - Interest or experience in cosmetic product development is preferred. - Knowledge of cosmetic industry regulations, safety standards, and ingredient compliance is advantageous. - Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork skills. - Passion for holistic wellness and natural beauty. Aromatika prefers candidates with knowledge of classical texts like Charaka Samhita and Ashtanga Hridaya, an understanding of cosmetic formulation techniques, and basic knowledge of quality control and stability testing.
