As we expand our formulations and product lines, we are looking for an Ayurvedic expert to join our production team.

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) professional to join our team as an Ayurvedic Consultant – Cosmetics Production. The ideal candidate will bring deep Ayurvedic knowledge and help ensure the integration of Ayurvedic principles in the formulation, production, and quality control of our cosmetic products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in formulation of herbal and Ayurvedic cosmetic products (e.g., creams, oils, shampoos, serums, etc.)
• Ensure all products comply with Ayurvedic standards, cosmetic regulations, and company quality benchmarks.
• Work with the R&D and production team to develop innovative, safe, and effective formulations based on Ayurvedic ingredients and practices.
• Oversee ingredient selection and validation, especially for classical herbs and Ayurvedic actives.
• Prepare or verify product documentation like formulation sheets, batch manufacturing records, and regulatory files.
• Conduct research on traditional Ayurvedic texts to find applications of herbs and treatments suitable for modern cosmetics.
• Ensure production practices follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Ayurvedic ethics.
• Collaborate with marketing and education teams to provide scientific backing and Ayurvedic insight for product promotion and training materials.

Requirements

• BAMS degree from a recognized university (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of Ayurvedic herbs, formulations, and pharmacology.
• Interest or experience in cosmetic product development preferred.
• Familiarity with cosmetic industry regulations, safety standards, and ingredient compliance is a plus.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Passion for holistic wellness and natural beauty.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of classical texts like Charaka Samhita, Ashtanga Hridaya, etc.
• Understanding of cosmetic formulation techniques (emulsions, extracts, infusions).
• Basic knowledge of quality control and stability testing.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Jaipur, Rajasthan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• BAMS: 1 year (Preferred)
