Liaise with store/warehouse/production teams to understand handling, storage, labeling, lot control, SKU rationalisation. Prepare MIS/ dashboards showing inventory health: slow-moving, obsolete, dead stock, shrinkage trends, variances by location/style. Follow up on previous audit findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions. Assist in training junior auditors or store/warehouse staff on stock audit best practices and internal control awareness. Support special investigations in case of suspected inventory pilferage, excess, misstatement. Adhere to audit quality standards, confidentiality and ethical behaviour. Candidate Profile / Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or equivalent (a postgraduate degree or certification (e.g., CWA/CA inter/ CMA) is a plus). 3-5 years of experience in stock/inventory audit, preferably in the fashion/retail/textile industry (if you want a senior role). Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, stock valuation methods, ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
