Baking Assistant

We are looking for a passionate and reliable Junior Baker who can support our baking team with daily baking tasks and help manage the overall operations of our cozy café. The ideal candidate will have basic baking experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to step into a leadership role when needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

• Assist in the preparation and baking and other baked goods.
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all baking equipment and workstations.
• Monitor ingredient levels and report supply needs.
• Assist in quality control and freshness of all baked items.

Management:

• Open or close the café, including setup and cleanup.
• Supervise and support front-of-house staff during shifts.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
• Manage cash handling, point-of-sale system, and daily sales reconciliation.
• Ensure café cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety standards.
