Configuring and deploying Backstage on Cloud platforms in a secure and scalable setup.
Building and maintaining a Service Catalog within Backstage for effective service management and discovery.
Integrating Backstage with CI/CD pipelines like GitlabCI, Octopus Deploy, ArgoCD for streamlining software delivery workflows.
Integrating monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Newrelic with Backstage.
Connecting Backstage to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes clusters for providing centralized insights and controls to developers.
Setting up Backstage as a central source of information by integrating sources like Confluence, Gitlab into Backstage search.
Actively participating in Agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Required Skills and Experience:
Expertise in extending Backstage core features and plugin development.
Proficiency in TypeScript and React.js with a solid understanding of component-based architecture.
Familiarity with API development and integration, especially with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for system integrations.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitlabCI, or ArgoCD.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and its integration with Backstage.
Strong analytical skills and a track record of solving complex technical problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of DevOps workflows and their alignment with Backstage functionalities.
Skills in optimizing Backstage applications and plugins for scalability and performance.
Exposure to microservices-based application development and management.
