Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Team Leadership, People Management & Operations:

    Lead, mentor, and manage a team of background verification specialists. Ensure adherence to SLAs and compliance.
  • Vendor Management:

    Monitor vendor performance through KPIs and regular audits. Resolve escalations and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Audit & Compliance:

    Maintain SOP & Policy documentation for all background verification activities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    Liaise with TA, HR, legal, compliance, and external vendors to streamline verification processes.
  • Quality Assurance & Reporting:

    Review verification reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Process Improvement:

    Identify gaps and Implement process enhancements to improve accuracy, speed, and compliance. Leverage automation tools and technology to streamline operations.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Min of bachelor's degree.
  • 10+years of experience in background verification or compliance roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of background screening regulations and best practices
