Backend Software Engineer (Python)

The Electric Vehicle Charging & Energy Management SaaS startup YoCharge is seeking a dedicated Backend Engineer (SDE-I) to join their team at their Udaipur location. As a full-time on-site team member, you will play a crucial role in scaling YoCharge's back-end platform and services to facilitate smart charging for electric vehicles. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Additionally, you must have proven experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar role. Proficiency in Python with Django and FastAPI frameworks is essential, along with prior experience in scaling a product. Knowledge of database systems such as SQL and NoSQL, as well as ORM frameworks, is required. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, as well as containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes, is preferred. Familiarity with deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and DevOps practices is also beneficial. Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs, understanding of systems architecture, and experience in developing for scale are necessary skills for this role. Furthermore, expertise in micro-services architecture and asynchronous programming, along with familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack, are desired qualifications. Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential, as well as the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate should have 1-2+ years of experience in a relevant field.
