Job Description

Role: Back End Python Engineer

Location: Remote

Work timing: UK Hours

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and Django
Write clean, reusable, and efficient code
Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality products
Optimize applications for performance and scalability
Implement security and data protection best practices
Integrate with third-party APIs and external systems
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Write and maintain unit tests and documentation

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Back End Python Engineer with
7+ years of experience in Python
and
extensive experience with Django
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
Experience with RESTful API development
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Understanding of Docker and deployment practices
Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus
Experience with Celery, Redis, or other asynchronous task queues is a plus
Excellent problem-solving and communication skill
