Role Description:

This is a role for a experienced Backend Python Developer at SkillSauce located in Noida. The developer will be responsible for developing RESTful APIs, integrating services and collaborating with the tech team. SkillSauce is building tools that simplify recruitment, reduce hiring time, and help companies onboard top talent efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams
• Debug and resolve backend issues quickly and efficiently
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer-review code changes
• Implement security and data protection best practices

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in

  Python

  and backend development frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with version control tools like

  Git

• Good understanding of

  unit testing

  and test-driven development
• Knowledge of

  cloud platforms

  (GCP)
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Exposure to frontend frameworks or full-stack experience
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn fast
