Job Title: Senior Java Developer Experience Required: 5 to 10 years Location: [Mumbai, Bangalore] Job Type: [Full-Time ] Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer with 5 to 10 years of professional experience in developing scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in core Java, Spring ecosystem, REST APIs, and database technologies, with a strong understanding of software engineering best practices. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on scalability and performance. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems and third-party services. Work closely with cross-functional teams (architecture, DevOps, QA, UI/UX) to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning. Implement best practices for clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Ensure code quality through test-driven development (TDD) and unit/integration testing. Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions. Stay updated with emerging trends in Java and related technologies. Required Skills: Strong proficiency in Java 8+ Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, etc.) Experience in RESTful API development and microservices architecture. Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) Knowledge of build tools like Maven or Gradle. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker) Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito Strong understanding of object-oriented design and design patterns Good to Have: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems Exposure to front-end technologies (JavaScript, Angular, React) is a plus Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
