Backend Engineer

We re hiring a Backend Engineer with 2 3+ years of experience in backend development (fintech/startup background is a plus). This role offers the opportunity to build and scale critical systems powering the financial journeys of thousands of NRIs globally.

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend services and REST APIs using Python (Django).

• Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end features.

• Ensure backend performance, security, and scalability.

• Own and improve database design and performance (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

• Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain a smooth customer experience.

• 2-3 years of experience

• Strong command of Python and experience with Django

• Proficient in designing and developing RESTful APIs

• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL

• Familiar with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines

• Understanding of software architecture and system design

• Exposure to React Native or frontend technologies (Good to have)

• Familiarity with mobile app backend integration. (Good to have)

• Working knowledge of Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes (Good to have)
