Backend Engineer / AI Orchestrator

Location: Baner, Pune (Work from Office)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer / AI Orchestrator to design and implement orchestration logic for AI agent workflows, APIs, and backend systems supporting large language model (LLM)-driven applications in the semiconductor domain.

Key Responsibilities

Develop backend APIs and orchestration logic using Python or Node.js.
Implement Neo4j driver to generate, validate, and execute Cypher queries with guardrails and safety mechanisms.
Integrate and orchestrate LLMs and helper agents (retrievers, summarizers) for RAG and few-shot tasks.
Design and manage AI agent workflows ensuring modularity, reliability, and security.
Implement security, rate limiting, audit logging, and monitoring mechanisms.
Build retry/fallback systems and collaborate with frontend teams for real-time results.
Maintain structured logging, observability, and performance tracking.

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Python or Node.js for backend development.
Proficiency in Neo4j driver and Cypher query language.
Experience in LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, or retrieval pipelines.
Familiarity with AI agent workflow frameworks:

LangChain
AutoGen
Semantic Kernel
CrewAI

Strong knowledge of security/guardrail patterns, logging, and monitoring.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with GCP (GBQ) or other cloud platforms.
Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, async task queues, vector databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools.
