Backend Developer (WordPress & PHP)

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in WordPress, PHP, and REST APIs to join our tech team. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing and maintaining backend functionality, creating custom themes and plugins, and ensuring seamless integration with frontend designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend functionality for websites and web applications.
• Create and customize WordPress themes and plugins as per requirements.
• Work with REST API integration and manage databases (MySQL).
• Follow MVC principles for structured and maintainable code development.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate designs and functionality.
• Utilize Git for version control and maintain clean coding practices.
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and WordPress development.
• Hands-on experience with custom theme/plugin development.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs and third-party API integration.
• Understanding of MVC frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter) is a plus.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
