Backend Developer

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side logic and backend services using Node.js and MongoDB. Your key tasks will include designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient RESTful APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend systems with other services and databases. It will be crucial to optimize application performance, database queries, and API response times. In case of issues, you will troubleshoot, debug, and resolve server and database-related problems. Staying updated with backend trends, tools, and best practices is essential to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the systems. To qualify for this role, you should have proven experience as a Backend Developer with hands-on work in production environments. Proficiency in Node.js, MongoDB, and API development is a must. A good understanding of backend design patterns, database modeling, and authentication will be required. Additionally, familiarity with tools like Postman, Git, and basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is expected. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the team. Clear and professional communication skills will also be valuable in this role. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js and MongoDB. Any experience in integrating AI tools into backend workflows will be considered an added advantage. Familiarity with AI/ML APIs such as OpenAI, Google AI, or similar platforms will be beneficial.
