As a PHP Backend Developer with 8-15 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code. Your responsibilities will include: - Working with PHP web frameworks like Yii, Laravel, CodeIgniter, or similar, ensuring a strong understanding of synchronous behavior and adhering to MVC design patterns. - Collaborating effectively with front-end developers, having a basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. - Utilizing object-oriented PHP programming principles to build scalable and maintainable applications, ensuring accessibility and security compliance. - Identifying and implementing solutions to common PHP and web server exploits, contributing to scalable application design principles. - Managing user authentication and authorization across systems, integrating diverse data sources and databases into a unified system. - Demonstrating familiarity with PHP platform limitations and implementing effective workarounds, designing database schemas to support business processes. - Proficiently working with SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases, maintaining a good understanding of code versioning tools like Git. - Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality, troubleshooting, and debugging applications for performance optimization.
