About the Role:

Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and RESTful APIs using Python and Django.
• Design and optimize scalable database schemas and queries (PostgreSQL or similar).
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that meets industry best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver full-stack solutions.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance of backend services.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data validation mechanisms.
• Deploy services using Docker and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of strong backend development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with

  Django

• Strong grasp of software design principles, architecture patterns, and API development.
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), testing tools (PyTest, DRF test), and API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI).

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to

  React.js

  and ability to support or collaborate on frontend tasks.
• Experience working in healthcare or Healthtech domains.
• Prior experience with microservices architecture or event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with WebSockets, or real-time data pipelines.
• Experience deploying scalable systems in cloud-native environments (ECS, Kubernetes, etc.).
