Backend Developer PHP and Laravel

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework. Working collaboratively with a team of developers, designers, and stakeholders, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your tasks will involve writing clean, efficient, and secure code in adherence to best practices and coding standards. Additionally, you will handle the implementation and maintenance of database schemas, as well as optimize query performance. Creating and consuming RESTful APIs for integration with third-party services and applications will be part of your role. Participation in code reviews to uphold code quality and coding guidelines is essential. Troubleshooting and debugging application issues promptly to provide effective resolutions is a key aspect of this position. Your solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management, will contribute to your success in this role. To excel in this position, you must stay abreast of the latest Laravel and PHP trends, technologies, and best practices. Optimizing application performance for scalability and speed will be crucial. You should possess strong proficiency in PHP and hands-on experience with the Laravel framework. Familiarity with MVC architectural patterns, modern PHP development principles, and knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and libraries/frameworks such as Vue.js or React will be advantageous. Moreover, having familiarity with relational databases like MySQL, understanding of database design principles, and knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, is beneficial. Experience with server management and hosting environments like Apache, Nginx, and cPanel is a plus. Your ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, alongside strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot technical issues, will be highly valued. Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team are essential qualities for this role. Understanding of RESTful API design and integration is required.
