Job Summary:

Backend Developer

Role & responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using
NestJS (Node.js)
and
TypeScript
.
Collaborate closely with the frontend team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Work with
PostgreSQL
databases and
TypeORM
to manage and query data.
Integrate with third-party services and APIs, such as Gmail, Salesforce, and AWS.
Implement and maintain secure, efficient, and well-documented API endpoints using tools like Swagger.
Participate in the full application lifecycle, from coding and debugging to testing.
Contribute to our CI/CD pipeline and deployment processes on
AWS EC2
.

Preferred candidate profile:

1-4 years of professional experience in backend development.
Strong proficiency in
Node.js
and
TypeScript
.
Experience with a Node.js framework, preferably
NestJS
.
Familiarity with relational databases, specifically
PostgreSQL
, and an ORM like
TypeORM
.
Understanding of RESTful API design and development.
Basic knowledge of frontend development, particularly with
React
, to facilitate effective collaboration.
Experience with Git and version control workflows.
