Backend Developer

Backend Developer (Java/Spring Boot) – 2+ Years Experience | AWS | CI/CD | Startup Experience

We are seeking a talented Backend Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a startup environment, with the ability to take ownership, move fast, and deliver high-quality backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful backend services using Java & Spring Boot
• Build scalable, modular, and secure backend architectures
• Develop and optimise database schemas, queries, and stored procedures in PostgreSQL
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Deploy and manage backend services on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
• Troubleshoot backend issues, optimize system performance, and ensure high availability
• Integrate third-party APIs, authentication modules (OAuth/JWT), and microservices
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Work collaboratively with frontend, DevOps, and product teams
• Adapt quickly in a startup environment, handling rapid iterations and tight deadlines

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on backend development using Java 8+ & Spring Boot
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns
• Experience with PostgreSQL, database design, indexing, and query optimization
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, IAM, S3, etc.)
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and build tools like Maven/Gradle
• Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, authentication/authorization
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Version control experience using Git/GitHub/GitLab
• Understanding of Docker & container-based deployments (nice-to-have)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup, take ownership, and deliver end-to-end solutions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
