Job Description

Backend Developers proficient in Java and PostgreSQL to join our team
You will be responsible for implementing core business logic and backend APIs based on approved designs and user flows
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders
Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java
Design and optimize database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL
Implement business logic aligned with project requirements and workflows
Ensure scalability, security, and performance of backend systems
Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate APIs and resolve issues
Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
Requirements: 3+ years of professional experience in backend development
Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks preferred)
Solid understanding of PostgreSQL including query optimization and indexing
Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
Familiarity with version control systems (eg, Git)
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Nice-to-Have Skills: Knowledge of microservices architecture
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Prior experience in Fintech will be an added advantage
