Your Role and Responsibilities As a Back-End Developer , you will: Develop and enhance features that collect, transform, and surface data on various cloud components. Design and maintain highly scalable cloud-based observability platforms with a focus on performance, reliability, and security. Work with Kubernetes-based cloud deployments, optimizing them for scale and resilience. Participate in the design of services, building automation tools, writing tests, and defining monitoring best practices. Collaborate with teams to develop and operate distributed applications in production environments. Handle complex escalations, identifying solutions to improve efficiency and reduce system overhead. Required Education Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant experience. Required Technical and Professional Expertise 2+ years of experience programming in Python, Go, or Node.js. 1+ years of experience in Kubernetes and Docker-based deployments. 2+ years of experience working within a CI/CD environment. Experience building automated tests and handling customer escalations. 1+ years of experience managing service dependencies via Terraform or Ansible. At least 2 years of experience coding and troubleshooting Go, Python, Node.js, Express.js applications. 1+ years of experience implementing secure principles for cloud-based systems. 3+ years of experience in microservice architecture development. 1+ years of experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB. 1+ years of experience with caching systems like Redis. Solid understanding of REST principles and API architecture. Familiarity with cloud services, including IBM Cloud, GCP, AWS, and Azure. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Advanced Kubernetes expertise. Development experience with PostgreSQL, Kafka, Elastic, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB. 2+ years of experience managing Linux machines with Chef, Puppet, or Ansible (Debian preferred). 2+ years of experience in automation using Python, Shell scripting. Experience troubleshooting, configuring, and using Linux systems. 2+ years of experience in infrastructure automation. 2+ years of experience using monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
