Backend Developer (C++ Enterprise Software)

**Job Description:** You will be working for one of Uplers" clients, an AI-powered Industrial Bid Automation Company. As part of the team, you will be responsible for further developing and maintaining the C++ based software backend, ensuring high-quality development and transforming industrial customers" use cases into solutions. Your role will involve actively participating in the design phase up to the final testing, mentoring and supporting junior colleagues, implementing logics and connections to external systems via diverse APIs, continuously optimizing the software, developing test and development tools, and integrating with update and configuration management tools. **Key Responsibilities:** - Further develop and maintain the C++ based software backend - Transform industrial customers" use cases into solutions - Participate in the design phase up to final testing - Mentor and develop junior colleagues - Implement logics and connections to external systems via diverse APIs - Continuously optimize the software - Develop test and development tools for development support - Integrate with update and configuration management tools **Qualifications Required:** - Proficiency in Code Versioning and Elastic Search engines - Familiarity with Solr and handling big data - Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and product development methodologies - Experience with other development languages like C# and .NET framework - Understanding of REST APIs, Logging, Lucene, microservices, and highly scalable systems - Proficiency in Multi-Threading and server architecture (load balancing) - Experience in designing/implementing server-based applications for enterprise environments - Knowledge of testing & debugging tools, data structures, and algorithms - Experience in backend development with C++ and Microsoft Visual Studio - Understanding of RDBMS databases like SQL and query optimization - Familiarity with STL containers and the latest C++ development standards - Equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field If you are looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to take your career to the next level, don't hesitate to apply today.
