Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Coimbatore for a Backbase Developer. The Backbase Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Front-end and Back-end components using Backbase technology. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, integrating APIs, coding user interfaces, testing software for reliability and performance, and ensuring solutions align with project requirements and timelines. The role also involves participating in technical reviews, troubleshooting issues, and continuously improving software deliverables.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Backbase platform development, including Back-end and Front-end modules
• Strong foundation in Java, Spring Boot, and JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React
• Experience in RESTful API integration and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and software development lifecycle methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Prior experience in banking or financial solutions development is a plus
